Josephine C. Brecka Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2023, at the age of 93, Josephine C. Brecka (Schenectady, New York), born in Albany, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kettyle and Minnie Kettyle (Clements); her husband George Brecka; her significant other J. Alden "Red" Benson; and her half-brother Stanley Kettyle.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Miller (Vicki), Sharon Aleksejczyk (Thomas), Gloria Andrikopoulos (Peter) and George Brecka (Wayne Chouinard); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Miller, Craig Miller, Todd Davis, Kyriakoula Andrikopoulos, Athena Andrikopoulos and Sonia Andriokopoulos. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Josephine memory to the Rotterdam United Methodist Church, 1915 Helderberg Ave., Schenectady, NY 12306.
