He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Lima and Raphael Lima (Benvenuti). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lima (Saglimbeni); his children, MaryAnn Batty (Daniel) and Joseph J. Lima (Lou-Ann); and his siblings, Peter Lima, Annie Pardine, Esther Lima, Elizabeth Cherulnik and Laura Lima. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Joe's name may be made to the City Mission of Schenectady, 425 Hamilton St., Schenectady, NY 12305.
