He was predeceased by: his father Martin Scales (Duffy); his brother Joseph (Joan); and his father Boston. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia (John) and Martin (Betty) of Whitman, Massachusetts.; his sons, Sean and Daniel; and his siblings, Anna and Nathan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (331 Seward Pl, Schenectady, NY 12305). An entombment was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery (611 Duanesburg Rd, Schenectady, NY 12306).
