It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Buell of Schenectady, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Michael Buell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buell and Alice Buell (Clough). He is survived by: his brothers, George Buell (Linda) and Bob Buell (Lynn); his nieces and nephews, Christy Guidetti (Mark), Eric Buell (Lindsay), Timothy Buell (Kim), Matthew Buell (Rachel), Devlin Rooney, Melissa Rose and Julia Raymond (Scott); and his friend Fra. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews; many special cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home (501 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12305). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

To remember John as he would love, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Proctors Theater atproctors.org or Union College for the care and maintenance of Jackson Gardens at union.edu/give.
