He is survived by: his wife Peggy Marcello Paniccia; his children, John Paniccia and Jessica Paniccia; his grandsons, Noah and Max Cherubin; his siblings, Edward Paniccia (Diana), Theodore Paniccia (Anna), Toni Paniccia, Lisa Paniccia and Alice Porto; his parents-in-law, Joseph D. Marcello, Sr. and Sarah Marcello; his sister Patricia Zentko (late Michael); and his brother-in-law Joey Marcello, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
John's commitment to Glioblastoma research was profound, and he found pride in contributing to the advancement of treatments by donating a portion of his brain tumor.
