She was predeceased by: her husband George Wheeler; her son Michael Newman; her parents, Wesley Vroman and Harriet Vroman; and her sister Marjorie Sheroka.
She is survived by: her daughter Darcy Preheim (Thomas); her stepchildren, Laurie Allen (Jim), Robert Wheeler (Laura) and George Wheeler (Debbie); and her brother Gary Vroman (Joanne). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
