Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rosalie Duke and Thomas Lewis; his wife Denise Faboskay Satterlee Lewis; his sons, Spencer (Korin), Duncan and Thomas "Fischer" Lewis (Emily); and his siblings-in-law, Laurie and Michael Russell. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at the STS Cyril & Method Cemetery.
