It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Chapman of Schenectady, New York, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gary farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Chapman and Patricia Chapman; his brother Ralph L. Chapman; and his brother-in-law Charles Gillmer (Chuck). He is survived by: his significant other Connie Powers; his daughters, Brandy Joseph (Jay), Brenda Chapman (Andrew Reed), Bonnie Chapman and Christine Neer (Adam); and his siblings, Wayne L. Chapman Jr., Russell L. Chapman (Bridgette), Cheryl Gillmer and Patty Washburn (Mike). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
