He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Mae Dixon Anderson and Tobie Lee Anderson; his son Guy A. Anderson; his grandson Amir Stevens; and his siblings, Mildred Thomas, James Anderson and Lonnie Anderson.
He is survived by: his former wife Virginia LaBad; his cousins, Edie Mae Dixon, Frankie Dixon, Gloria Dixon and Dora Dean Lewis (Wayman Sr.); his children, Gregory Stevens (Jenny), Pamela Carter I (John), Ashby Stevens, Gina Stevens (Tyrone), Mischelle Fields (Robert) and Felicia McAllister; his grandchildren, Jasmin Stevens (Alfred), Mario Grau (Tiffany), Kamille Jobe (Travis), Monika Mathis (Theodore), Charelle Carter Brooks (Dorian), John Carter II (Melissa), LaShana Blanks, Cory Anderson, Javere Anderson, Candi Anderson, Kesha Steele, Jasmine Anderson, Iesha Anderson, Imaniyeh Stevens, Jedai Stevens, Donnell Forman, Alexis Spencer-Anderson, Raymond Jabonaski, Dee-Ann Jabonaski and Caden Sidoti; his daughter-in-law Lori Anderson; and his cousins, Johnnie, Joel and Jeanette Dixon. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
