He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde VanPatten and Eleanor Smith VanPatten. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen VanPatten; his children, Kerry, Shawn, Chance VanPatten and Gina VanPatten; his grandchildren, Devin VanPatten, Lily VanPatten, Joey Zenner, Bella VanPatten and James Zido; and his great grandchild Armani Grant. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
