He was predeceased by: his parents, Natalie Barbera and Kenneth Hakey; and his sister Elaine Curtin. He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Eaton and Emily DeFruscio; and his grandchildren, Jackson, Mark, Natalie and Julie May.
