It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Danowski of Schenectady, New York, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Kersten and Emily "Margaret" Kersten; her brothers, Louis Kersten and Edward "Sonny" Kersten; her husband Edward Robert Danowski; and her son Edward Danowski.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Danowski (Lisa) and Darlene LaValle of Long Island; her grandchildren, Emilie Danowski (Michael Spencer), Eddie Danowski and Kayla Valderama (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Lila Vause, Michael Spencer, Jr. and Deyanara Spencer.
