In loving memory of Doris Ella Barkley (Schenectady, New York), who departed this world on April 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Doris Ella leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas F. Fyvie and Eloise Fyvie Sr. (Hart); her husband Guy R. Barkley Sr.; her son Guy R. Barkley Jr.; and her siblings, Thomas F. Fyvie Jr. (Mary), Robert L. Fyvie (Phyllis), Barbara J. Felano (Roland), Richard W. Fyvie (Nancy) and Marie C. Woodward.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl R. Mareno (late Richard), Paul T. Barkley (Lisa), Robert L. Barkley (Leslee) and Daniel M. Barkley (Kim Teta). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren, 3 great- great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Historic Vale Cemetery (907 State St, Schenectady, NY 12308).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Doris's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38148-0142.
