She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alford and Tissa Mae Alford; her mother-in-law Mary Beverly Lewis-Salley; her son George Jackson Jr.; her daughter-in-law Calefia Graves-Porter; her granddaughters, Ramae Carter and Nayla Dixon; and her great grandchild Serenity Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Wayman T. Lewis Jr.; and her children, Lynette Jackson, Brady Jackson Sr. (LaNette Jackson), Denise Clark (Andre Clark), Linda Jasper (Darien Jasper), Andre Porter, Waymen Lewis, Bridget Lewis and Garnette "Regina" Brown. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
