Deborah (Halakan) Webster Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2024, at the age of 72, Deborah (Halakan) Webster (Schenectady, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Deborah had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Deborah may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Webster and Constance Webster; and her grandson Sage Latimer. She is survived by: her husband Lex Halakan; her children, Dan Northrup (Dawn Lukes) and Kyndra Northrup; her stepdaughter Liz Mahan (Sam); her siblings, Ed Webster (Judy) and Cheryl Webster (Cliﬀ Baum); and also Aleeza Oppelt Van Avery (John Van Avery). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
