Bette Franklin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2023, at the age of 99, Bette Franklin (Schenectady, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wladyslav Laniewski and Valeria Laniewski; and her siblings, John Laniewski, Harriet Rodwell, Jane Dreves and Lillian Lemmo.
She is survived by: her child Sherrill Redmond (Robert) of Niskayuna; her granddaughter Taryn Roselli (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Cady, Michael and Lauren Roselli; her grandson Ryan Redmond (Danielle); her son Gary Franklin (Nora); her grandson Cory Franklin (Emily); her great grandchildren, Liam and Olivia; her grandson Paul (Anna); her great grandchildren, Thor, Preston and Landon; her granddaughter Erica Cacchiotti; and her great grandchild Ashley Newlin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bette's name may be made to the Teresian House Activities Department, 200 Washington Ave Ext., Albany or to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave, Scotia, NY, 12302.
