He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin M. Stachewicz and Jane Stachewicz (Stryjek); his sister Barbara; his brother-in-law Peter Kovacs; his son-in-law Kevin Curry; his aunt Martha Kernozek; and his friend Roger Peugh.
He is survived by: his wife Helene Borysewicz; his daughters, Darlene Stott (Kevin), Karen Curry (Tim Decker) and Rachel Rodriguez (Angel); his grandchildren, Meghan (Bill Halloran) and Lauren Alexander (Kyle Dunster); and his children, David, Annie and Alex Rodriguez. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Benjamin's name to Our Lady Queen of Peace, City Mission (425 Hamilton St., Schenectady, NY 12305) or Hospice and Palliative Care Association (119 Washington Ave., Suite 302, Albany, NY 12210).
