With solemn reverence, we commemorate Barbara Catino (Schenectady, New York), whose life came to an end on April 18, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schottenham and Hazel Schottenham (Black); her husband Edward A. Catino; her son Michael Catino; and her brothers, Jack and James Schottenham.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Bouck (David) and Edward Catino (Michele); her grandchildren, Karah Sherwood (Ryan), Ryan Bouck (Caresse), Jordan Catino (Rachel), Justin Catino (Chelsea), Demi Bouck (Durett Miles), Joshua Catino and Alisha Catino (Larry Sanchez); her great grandchildren, Cameron, David Bouck, Davian Miles, Matthew and Emme Sherwood; and her sister Patricia Cady. She is also survived by her family and many friends.

A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (806 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12308).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Barbara's memory to City Mission of Schenectady.
