She was predeceased by: her parents, Giacomo Pistolessi and Angelina Pistolessi; and her husband Selwyn Smart. She is survived by: her son William Smart (Lori); her grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Smart; her siblings, Vincent Pistolessi and Teresa Pistolessi-Ackner; and her stepchildren, Elaine Koppel (Paul), Jerome Smart and Janet Perkins (Mark). She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
