He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lester and Evelyn; and his grandson Brandon. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, James Canova (Debra), Cynthia Michelin and William Canova (Amy); his grandchildren, Michael, Lauren and Steven; and his brother Ronald Canova.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church (943 Palmer Ave, Schenectady, NY 12309). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
