He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Novak and Frances Pajura Novak; and his siblings, Anthony, Andrew Novak, Sophie Sarawak and Ann Moskal.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Novak (Jacobs); his sons, Albert Joseph Jr. (late Tina), Steven (Amy) and Kenneth (Shari); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Albert Joseph, Nathan (Adrian), Evan (Elizabeth), Ryan (Alisha), Kyle (Rosie) and Tyler (Kalli); his great grandchildren, Alivia, Kacey, Charlotte and Landon; and his sisters, Frances Czelusniak (late Edward) and Marcy Korona (late Robert).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Adalberts Cemetery (2800 Hamburg St, Schenectady, NY 12303).
