He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Moon, and William A. Moon, Sr.; his sisters, JoAnn MacDougall and Jean Hughes; and his brother-in-law Michael Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Shelley Moon (Mason); his son Cory Moon; and his brother-in-law Ken MacDougall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Home (173 Main St, Schaghticoke, NY 12154).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill's memory to the Schaghticoke Fire Department or the Hoosic Valley Rescue Squad.
