He was predeceased by: his stepparents, Eileen R. Dunbar and Earl Harper; his siblings, Wayne, Kenneth Dunbar and Dianne LaPlante; and his brother-in-law Ed LaPlante.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Moss; his children, Cassandra Dunbar (James Martin) of Mineville, Brenda Tompkins (Rob) of Mechanicville and Bob Dunbar (Michelle) of Fonda; his grandchildren, Megan Peason (Will), Brian Loucks, Kristin Lewis (Patrick Beaudoin), Joshua Lewis (Amy), Sarah Harris (Kyle) and Christopher Dunbar; his brother Ronald Dunbar (Mary) of Peoria, Arizona; his sister-in-law Patricia Lampron (Roger) of Saratoga; his pets, Emmi and Samson; and also Shirley Dunbar of Broadalbin. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren.
