He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph N. Akin and Grace M. Akin (Marshall). He is survived by: his wife Winifred Ann Akin (Hunt); his children, Richard W. Akin (Sue) of Johnsonville, Howard J. Akin (Kari) of Johnsonville, Glenn B. Akin (Kay) of Johnsonville, Dale B. Akin (Kelly) of Johnsonville and Todd W. Akin (Jeannie) of Johnsonville; his brothers, James A. Akin (Karen) of Lexington, KY and Wayne H. Akin (Helen) of Johnsonville; his great grandchild Barb Ford; his friends, Ron Potts, John Halford and Frank Loszynski; and his brother Bruce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
