It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen M. Kyea of Schaghticoke, New York, born in Buskirk, New York, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Hunt, and Muriel Barnhardt Hunt, Sr.; her sons, George and Robert Badger; and her siblings, Joseph, Irene, Helen, Ozella, Leroy Jr., Earl, Marjorie, Robert and James.
She is survived by: her husband Edward R. Kyea; her children, Wayne Badger (Rita), Carol Ann Badger, Tammy Comitale (Martin) and Edward Kyea Jr. (Cindy); and her brother Mike Hunt (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home (39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hudson North Church (895 Hudson Ave, Stillwater, NY 12170). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
