He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barton and Mary Kosowski Barton. He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Lanoue Barton; his children, Christine Barton, Gene Barton, Jr. (Missy), Daniel Barton (Tracy), Marie Barton and Elizabeth Barton (Brian Mazzeo); his grandchildren, Taylor Barton Carrozza, Alysa Barton, Austin Barton, Daniel Barton, Jr., Emma Barton, Kathryn Mazzeo, James, Brian Mazzeo, Jr. and Anthony Mazzeo; and his brothers, David Barton (Gail) and Larry Barton (Kim). He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
