Susan Hoyt Bloom Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2021, at the age of 82, Susan Hoyt Bloom of Scarsdale, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Bloom; her children, Sheryl Bloom Shaw (Cliff), Steven Bloom (Linda) and Richard Bloom (Lizabeth); her grandchildren, Michael, Andrew Shaw, Jamie (Micaela), Daniella, Paul Bloom, Rachel and Alison Bloom; her sibling Renea Shapiro; and her parents, Max Hoyt and Pauline Hoyt.

The COVID-19 quarantine allowed her to master Zoom and visit many more museums and watch ballets online and stay in touch with her friends.

In lieu of flowers, Susan requested that people make donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (https://www.mskcc.org) in her memory.
