We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2022, at the age of 14, Marcus John Serafino Monaco of Scarsdale, New York, born in Valhalla, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Jane Wakefield and Prisco Monaco; his siblings, Anthony Monaco and Caitlin Monaco; his nephew Tommy; and his grandparents, Judith Lippert Walker and Donald Walker.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the A-T Children's Project (driving innovative research and advancing efforts to find a cure for A-T) or The Viscardi Center – Direct Gift to Henry Viscardi School Program (an accredited model school that offers parents of children with severe physical disabilities a traditional educational setting that provides rigorous academics and opportunities).
