She was predeceased by: her husband Gyan Prakash Goyal; and her sister Maya Bansal. She is survived by: her children, Anshuman Goyal (Shilpi Chandra) and Sweta Somasi (Madan Somasi); her grandchildren, Sid, Ilina, Saumya, Arya and Shiv; and her siblings, Meenu Agarwal, Dinesh Garg and Rakesh Garg.
