She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Freije; her brother Richard; and her children, Kathy and Steven. She is survived by: her siblings, Dolores and Robert; her niece Elizabeth; and her grandchildren, Christian, Samantha and Christina.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to HOPE Community Services in New Rochelle.
