Richard Masterson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Masterson of Sayville, New York, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Anne Henry. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, John (Kristina) of Massachusetts, Patti Hess (Bill) of Connecticut, MaryBeth Keenan (Thomas) of Bayport, Jeanne McCormack (Matt) of Georgia and Dan (Madeleine) of Centerport, NY; his grandchildren, Julia, Mik, Zachary (Chase), Nicholas, Jacqueline (Saxon), Meghan, Danielle, Brendan, Katie, Morgan and Ruby; his sister Joan Coleman of Staten Island; his sister-in-law May Elgers-Lo of Massachusetts; and his friend Marty Cullinan of Amityville.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Homes (245 Main St, West Sayville, NY 11796). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Snow RC Church (175 Blue Point Ave, Blue Point, NY 11715).

In lieu of flowers, contributions made in Richard's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, are appreciated.
