We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2024, at the age of 77, Marie Alessi of Sayville, New York, born in Astoria, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Marie has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her husband Peter. She is survived by: her children, Steven (Jennifer) and Gina (Dan Lahmann); her grandchildren, Jake, Morgan, Daniel and Sienna; and her sister Ann Pattilio.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home (245 Main St, West Sayville, NY 11796). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence RC Church (240 W Main St, Sayville, NY 11782).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory can be made to Tiny Tots Learning Center, 482 Middle Road Bayport, New York 11705.
