She was predeceased by: her father John Van Wyen. She is survived by: her mother Rosemarie Van Wyen; her husband William Maro; her children, Gillian Maro and William Maro; and her sisters, Rosanne Orski and Kathy Senese.
At Laurie's request prior to her passing, in lieu of flowers, a fund was established with The Stonybrook Cancer Research Center.
