Frances Marie Kenney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Marie Kenney of Sayville, New York, who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mickey Shea and Angela Shea; her husband John Joseph Kenney; her children, Kevin Kenney, Kerry Afflitto and Colin Kenney; her children-in-law, Cris Kenney and Jim Conboy; and her sister Barbara Shea.
She is survived by: her children, Maryanna Conboy, Sean Kenney, Paul Kenney, Gavin Kenney (Linda), Neil Kenney and Michael Kenney; her son-in-law Michael Afflitto; and her sister Ellen Kempf. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church (170 Mt Bethel Rd, Warren, NJ 07059). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Mount R. C. Church (170 Mt Bethel Rd, Warren, NJ 07059).
Frances would prefer no flowers and instead asked that those wishing to honor her memory do something to enrich someone else's life—a kind gesture, an act of service, or simply bringing joy to another person.
