With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas M. Bandura of Sayville, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 73. As Douglas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Douglas. Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Jessica Toner (Donald) of Rocky Point, Kevin (Laura) of West Virginia and Dorothy Moerlein (Alex) of Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Logan, Emma, Eliza, Samantha, Theo and Serafina; and his brother Keith (Laura) of Pine Bush, NY..
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home (683 Montauk Hwy, Bayport, NY 11705). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Lawrence RC Church (240 W Main St, Sayville, NY 11782).
