He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Buck and Ethel I. Rose Buck; his brother Douglas Buck; his nephew Douglas Buck Jr.; and his former wife Betty Butler Buck.

He is survived by: his children, Todd Buck (Lee) of McDonald, Tammra Buck of Savona and Penelope Buck (Thomas Majka) of Cortland; his grandchildren, Lydia Buck, Thomas Buck (Renee), Courtenay Gilroy (Johnny), Jamie Buck and Todd Buck Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Rainey, Taebrey, Grayson and Jaxson.
