She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Spillane and Florence Spillane (Peck); her husband Lawrence "Reggie" Smart; her son Paul Smart; and her sisters, Shirley Thurston (Thomas) and Patricia Jackson (Sheldon).
She is survived by: her children, Denise Kane, Dawn Donk (Ronald) and Michael Smart (Bev); and her grandchildren, Courtney Foster (Clark), Kevin Donk (Laura), Timothy Donk (Sara), Laura Allen (Kevin), Nikki Grant (Jeff) and Kristy Adams (A. J.). She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
