We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021, at the age of 85, Victor Leon Destefano Jr. of Sauquoit, New York, born in Utica, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor L., Sr. and Ella DeStefano (Ioia); his brothers, Gennaro (Rosaria DeStefano), Mario DeStefano (Jane DeStefano) and Gilbert (Marge DeStefano); and his parents-in-law, Harold, Roswena Waters, Barb, Walt Stefanski, Sharon Colp and Fred Waters.
He is survived by: his son Victor; his grandchildren-in-law, Maggie, Bella and Gavin; his children, Julie (Jim Stephens) and Michael DeStefano; his grandson Victor L. DeStefano III; his daughter-in-law Sally DeStefano; his grandchildren, Chad, Danielle DeStefano, Joshua DeStefano, Joey Kohlbrenner, Maggie Stephens, Bella Stephens and Gavin Stephens; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Luke, Kimberly DeStefano, Tucker, Carson and Ryker Kohlbrenner; his parents-in-law, James Colp and Ceil Waters; his friends, Betty Luciano and Lillian Spaziani; his wife Margaret; and also, James and Patricia Stephens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, the family will honor and commemorate Victor at a private time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family enabling them to establish a scholarship fund in Victor's name.
