It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie H. Matteson (Sauquoit, New York), who passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank E. Shaw and Florence V. Phelps Shaw; and her children, Randy, Myron M. 'Mike" Matteson III (Joan), Thelma June Pike and Bessie.
She is survived by: her husband Myron M. Matteson; and her children, Linda Kilbourne (Thomas) of West Winfield, Sharon Peek (Everett) of Hookstown, PA, Terry Rizzo (Vincent) of Ilion, Robert Matteson (Linda) of Florida, James Matteson (Sally) of Madison and Gregory Matteson (Lori) of Madison. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 16 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
