Walter Frey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Frey of Saugerties, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. Frey and Catherine Frey; his wife Joan; and his brother Carl J. Frey. He is survived by: his children, Lori Ann Frey and Walter G. Frey, Jr. of Venice, Florida; his cousin John Schmid (Marina) of Germantown; his sister Marie Peluso of Yonkers; and his brother-in-law Robert T. VanTassell, Jr. of Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with face covering and social distancing mandates observed.
Memorial contributions may be made in Walter's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
