He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Sherman and Mildred Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Irma Sherman; his children, Jodi Sherman and Daniel Sherman of Saugerties; his sister Susan Treuman of Louisville, KY; his nieces, Kirsten Treuman of Louisville, KY and Betsy Treuman of Murphy, Oregon; and his brother-in-law Richard Schafstetin (Helena Majewska) of Rock Hill.
