It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Sladewski of Saugerties, New York, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Bancroft Heinlein and Ruth Trott Heinlein; her husband Walter; and her siblings, Alden Heinlein, Nancy Chatman and Ruth Snyder.

She is survived by: her children, Jean King (Robert) of Saugerties, Joseph (Virginia) of Middletown, DE, Thomas (Debra) of Madrid, NY, Richard (Mary) of Austin, TX and Leo (Samuela) of New Windsor, NY; and her brother William Heinlein. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 13th from 6-8 pm at Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc.(cor. of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties) mask and social distance mandates observed.
