Robert Gardner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2020, at the age of 91, Robert Gardner (Saugerties, New York), born in Cementon, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gardner and Mary Gardner; his wife Agnes; his son Robert C.; and his siblings, Marie Collier and Charles Gardne.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Gardner (Paul Fischer) of Cairo; and his brothers, Clarence "Peanuts" Gardner of Saugerties and John Gardner of Delray Beach, FL. He is also survived by two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In the interest of public safety and the mandates by the governor of NYS due to covid-19 virus, a Graveside Service and Military honors by Legion Post #72 will be held Tuesday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saugerties.
Family suggests donations in his memory be made to Boys Town or charity of your choice.
