We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2023, at the age of 86, Robert G. Carpenter of Saugerties, New York, born in West Camp, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert G. Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Valmore Carpenter and Mildred Carpenter (Neher) of West Camp; his brother Richard N. Carpenter; and his nephew Richard Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carpenter (Mauro); his sons, Dr. Robert D. Carpenter of Scottsdale, AZ, Kevin Mauro Carpenter (Lucy Carpenter) of Saugerties and Dennis Scott Carpenter of Saugerties; his grandsons, Dr. Robert D. Carpenter, Jr. (Jacqueline), Kevin M. Carpenter (Stephany), Michael Carpenter (Carli Booth) and Matthew M. Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Kevin and Summer Carpenter; his sister-in-law Kathleen Carpenter of Utica; and his caregiver Sophia Apraku. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and close friends.

Expression of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
