She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Zauner and Margaret Ganz Zauner; her husband Carl O. Heese; her brother Nicholas Zauner; and her great grandchild Aubrey Doyle.
She is survived by: her children, Elinor Hunt (David) of Saugerties, Virginia Abate (Frank) of Gilbertown, Richard Heese (Karen Morrison) of Saugerties and Michael Heese (Diane Jensen) of Kingston; and her sister Ann Leddy of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
