He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Hunter and Catherine Hunter (Brandt); his son Kevin R. Hunter, Jr.; and his stepfather Wellington Hunter Jr. (Duke). He is survived by: his daughter Stacy A. Hunter; his grandsons, Gavin Sessler and Jacob Connelly; his siblings, Debra J, Reginald Hunter (Nancy Wilkerson), Robin Hunter (Audrey) and Jacquelyn Earley (Tad); and his friends, Linda and Louis Mancuso.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. (45 John St, Saugerties, NY 12477).

Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Woodstock Rescue Squad or the Saugerties Animal Shelter.
