She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hughey and Marguerite Hughey; her former husband Merlyn "Ted" Halpin; her husband Stanley Darling; her son Thomas Halpin; her brother Lynn Hughey; and her stepsons, Thomas and Jody Darling.
She is survived by: her children, Margo McGilvrey (Bob) of Saugerties, Marilyn Halpin of Saugerties, L. Robert Halpin (Sandy) and Ned Halpin (Arla); her sister Barbara Baldwin of South Carolina; and her stepchildren, Annie Hull (Tim) and John "Jack" Darling (Francine).
Family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to either the Mecklenburg Methodist Church, 6063 Turnpike Rd. Mecklenburg, NY 14863 or the Mecklenburg Fire Dept., 4496 Ct.
