He was predeceased by: his parent Edmond LaChance; and his siblings, Ronald, Raymond, Rudy and Jackie.

He is survived by: his parent Anna LaChance; his wife Catskill Mt; his daughters, Leslie LaChance of Nashville, Amy Schad of Reno and Michele Tierney of Saugerties; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, Ashleigh, Alexandra Peterson, Ryan, Liam Schad and Pierce Tierney; and his brothers, Richard (James LaChance) and Sharon DelGiacco.
