Joseph L. Font Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph L. Font of Saugerties, New York, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Joseph and Jeffrey; his parents, Joseph Font and Anna Font (Brozek); his wife Gaetana; his siblings, Frank De Bernardo (Marie) and Lois Schonger (George); his family, Fred (Alana), Richard, Elaine and Maria (Alan); and his foster children, Michelle Amend, Sarah, Matthew Seeley, Jeremy and Barbara Taylor. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Joe fought a long and hard battle, as any true Marine, against Parkinson's Disease until the Lord graciously brought him home to be with his sons Joseph and Jeffrey.
