He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Giannone and Catherine Leahy Giannone; and his wife Ann. He is survived by: his sons, John (Maureen), Christopher (Judy) and Scott Giannone. He is also survived by six grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the local chapter of the SPCA.
